Who is Debutante?

Female:  debutante or deb (from French: débutante, “female beginner”) is a young woman of aristocratic or upper-class family background who has reached maturity and, as a new adult, comes out into society at a formal “debut” or possibly debutante ball.

What age is a debutante?

Young women from around the world, ranging in age from 16 to 21, are selected to be debutantes to formally present themselves to society.

What is the male version of a debutante?

The male equivalent  of a debutante ball is referred as “beautillion ball”.
